77-year-old man dies of heart failure after his penis became stuck in a soft drink bottle
A SINGAPOREAN died of heart failure after his penis became stuck in a soft drink bottle, reported Sin Chew Daily and China Press.
The incident happened when the 77-year-old man used the bottle to masturbate.
China Press reported that the senior citizen got his private part into the bottle and only sought help after his penis could not be dislodged from the bottle despite trying various ways such as applying soap water.
Doctors tried to alleviate the man's suffering by cutting the bottle below the neck but to no avail because by that time, the skin around the penis had started to become inflamed, causing him to be unable to urinate.
His misadventure later led to other medical complications causing his death. -- THE STAR/ANN

US teen accused of child pornography for posting nearly 30 explicit nude pictures of herself
TRENTON - A 14-year-old New Jersey girl has been accused of child pornography for posting nearly 30 explicit nude pictures of herself on MySpace.com - charges that could force her to register as a sex offender if convicted.
The case comes as prosecutors nationwide pursue child pornography cases resulting from kids sending nude photos to one another over cell phones and e-mail.
Legal experts, though, could not recall another case of a child pornography charge resulting from a teen's posting to a social networking site.
MySpace would not comment on the New Jersey investigation, but the company has a team that reviews its network for inappropriate images.
In the New Jersey case, the Passaic County Sheriff's Office investigated and discovered the girl had posted the 'very explicit' photos of herself, sheriff's spokesman Bill Maer said Thursday.
'We consider this case a wake-up call to parents,' Mr Maer said.
The girl posted the photos because 'she wanted her boyfriend to see them,' he said.
The teen, whose name has not been released because of her age, was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
She was released to her mother's custody.
If convicted of the distribution charge, she would be forced to register with the state as a sex offender. She also could face up to 17 years in jail, though such a stiff sentence is unlikely. -- AP

A Romanian student is auctioning her virginity online to pay her way through university.

Alina Percea, 18, from Caracal in Olt county, has posted her ad on German site www.gesext.de which specialises in dating and erotic auctions.
In her ad, she says: "I am a 108lbs, 5.67 ft tall, brown-eyed Romanian girl. I don't smoke and own a certificate from a gynaecologist which says I am a virgin. I want my first time to be special and not very abrupt.
"The winning bidder can spend a whole weekend with me provided he will cover all the expenses in case I need to travel or stay at a hotel."
Miss Percea says she decided to go ahead with the auction to raise enough money to pay for her studies - but she also hopes the winner might become her husband.
She says she is hoping to raise 50,000 euros but, with three days to go until the auction closes, bidding stands at 5,000 euros.

Probation for teen 'dad'

ALTHOUGH she had actually been pregnant for seven months, an underaged girl wasn't aware that she was having a baby until her parents sent the 14-year-old for a checkup.
On Tuesday, the father, also 14, was placed on one-year supervised probation by the Juvenile Court, after he pleaded guilty to two counts of carnal connection.
The teenager could have been jailed for up to five years and fined up to $10,000 for each charge if he had been 16 when he engaged in the acts.
He was also ordered to stay indoors from 9pm to 6am during the probation period and will have to perform 120 hours of community service.
The baby has been put up for adoption. The two teens met in July 2007 through the Internet when they were both 13. They were initially 'casual friends' before getting serious a month later.
The girl started visiting his flat and they had sex there for the first time. The young couple also had sex sometime in December 2007 at the boy's place.
It was only in July last year that the girl suspected she might be expecting after missing her period for several months.
It was also around this time that her parents confronted her. The girl denied it initially but a subsequent check-up showed that she was 28 weeks pregnant.
The 15-year-old joins a growing group of girls in Singapore who are having sex under the age of 16. Last year, 310 teens were caught engaging in consensual sex - nearly 45 per cent more than 2007.

On Aug 26, in Fujian Province, China, an upset Wong decided to visit his friend Xu’s house to collect an unpaid debt.
3 years ago Xu borrowed 500 yuen (about $70) from Wong for his wedding and never paid the money back.
Wong showed up at Xu’s house with a bat in hand demanding that Xu pay back the money he had borrowed. Xu then pulled out a metal rod he had laying around to use in defense if Wong decided to attack him.
Xu denied that he had borrowed any money from Wong and asked him to prove that there was a debt to be owed.
Wong finally “told him that if he dared to swear to God that he didn’t owe me the money, then I would waive his debt.”
Xu, obviously seeing a way out of paying the debt, then pointed the pole straight up in the air and shouted “if I ever borrowed money from Wong, let me be struck by lighting.”
Less than a minute after shouting those words, lightning struck the outstretched pole and passed through into Xu’s body.
Xu was taken to the hospital but survived the incident.
No mention as to whether this proves Xu did indeed borrow the money or if he has any plans to now pay Wong the money he owes.

A Chinese man has married himself to express his "dissatisfaction with reality".
Liu Ye, 39, from Zhuhai city, married a life sized foam cut-out of himself wearing a woman's bridal dress.
"There are many reasons for marrying myself, but mainly to express my dissatisfaction with reality," he said.
"This marriage makes me whole again. My definition of marriage is different from others."
The ceremony was held at a traditional courtyard packed with more than 100 guests.
The 'couple' were led out by a bridesmaid and a groomsman and bowed to ancestors and senior guests for blessings.
Liu says he is not gay, but admits he's "maybe a bit narcissistic", reports New Express.

Held over rape in police station

KUALA LUMPUR: A policeman was detained for allegedly forcing a 17-year-old girl to perform oral sex and raping her in a police station in Selangor recently.
It was learnt that the policeman, in his 20s, had stopped the girl and her boyfriend, who were riding a motorcycle, while making his rounds about 5am on June 18.
Upon questioning, the policeman, who was with a colleague, discovered that the girl's boyfriend did not possess a licence and the couple was taken to a police station for further questioning.
Sources said the couple was later interrogated separately in different rooms.
While being interrogated, the girl was allegedly forced to undress and threatened.
"The policeman allegedly threatened to throw her boyfriend in jail for 20 years if she refused to obey his instructions," said a source.
Fearing for her boyfriend's safety, the girl agreed to the policeman's demand and performed oral sex on him and was also raped.
After about 30 minutes, the couple was released and she did not reveal the incident to either her boyfriend or family members.
However, two days later, the girl decided to inform her cousin about what happened in the police station.
The cousin later informed the girl's parents.
On Sunday, the girl, accompanied by her family members, lodged a police report at the Putra Heights police station in Subang Jaya.
When contacted, Selangor police chief Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the report.
He however refused to elaborate, saying that the case was still under investigation.
Bruce Willis, 54, got hitched to girlfriend Emma Heming, a model, 30, at his home in the Turks & Caicos on Saturday.
His rep tells Us Willis' daughters, Rumor, 20, Scout, 17, and Tallulah Belle, 14, and their mother, Willis' ex Demi Moore, were present, as was Moore's current husband, Ashton Kutcher. A source tells Us that Madonna was also among the guests.
"The couple will be having a civil ceremony when they return to California," Willis' rep tells Us.
While on the island, Ashton Kutcher took a snapshot of Demi Moore in her bikini bending over while steaming his suit and put it on twitter Saturday afternoon. He made no mention of the wedding in his tweet, writing, "watching my wife steam my suit while wearing a bikini. I love God!"

Since Kristi Piehl broke the “Smiley Face Killers” story last May, she lost her job as KSTP-TV’s investigative reporter. But ABC’s “Good Morning America” doesn’t know how to quit her.
Piehl will be on GMA Monday at 7 a.m., the Hutchinson Leader reports, touting a “new direction” for the lurid and dubious tale of serial killers roaming the Midwest, dispatching up to 70 young men whose bodies have never been found.
The smiley face refers to the ubiquitous ’70s icon found in the general vicinity of each alleged murder, even though the icon is found in the general vicinity of everywhere.
Authorities have repeatedly checked out the theory, spun by two retired ex-New York cops, and found it wanting. In Minneapolis, police rejected links to the well-publicized Chris Jenkins disappearance. The FBI says there is no proof a killer or killers are at work: “The vast majority of these instances appear to be alcohol-related drownings.”
In a memorable takedown, then-Minnesota Monitor staffer Steve Perry flayed the story, writing, “Let the record show that Kristi Piehl of KSTP has done her part to bring the yarn to the huddled masses yearning to breathe the vapors of another massive conspiracy.” Over at Mpls.St.Paul, Brian Lambert wrote that the theory, “Boggles … every rational instinct.”
Then again, Piehl’s story won a regional Emmy Award, which Lambert pronounced “ludicrous.”
Nevertheless, this is the sort of “unsolved” situation that grieving parents can’t quit, and TV news can’t either. In fact, Piehl has officially joined the two: since leaving Channel 5, she and the father of a possible victim have started a website, sfkillers.com. According to the site, working the smiley face cases is now Piehl’s full-time job.
Tune in Monday, if you dare, to see whether Piehl’s new cottage industry remains a house of cards.
By the way, it will be fun to see how KSTP’s local newscasts play a network story from someone they just let go.

New Theory in the Smiley Face Killer(s) Case
"We have a very distinctive vehicle in question," Bill said
He said this vehicle was seen multiple times on camera driving in front of the Bayou Café, where Josh was prior to his disappearance. Cameras spotted the car later at two locations following a stolen Department of Environmental Conservation on the port of Albany.
Bill said the DEC building is in the middle of the portion of Smith Boulevard, where the Albany Police Department had jurisdiction. The building was secure and did not show any signs of breaking and entering, he said.
After the DEC vehicle left the parking lot, it took a right and went to the most southern part of the port. Two different cameras spotted the vehicle during this time and the vehicle was seen driving in front of the bar.
"The south part of the port is the only area not covered by cameras," Bill said. "It is the only part of the port with access to the water." {source}
The vehicle that was following was abandoned by the driver and the police did not thoroughly search the entire car evidence, only checking the door, steering wheel, gear shift and rear view mirror.
Police recovered Szostak's cell phone from the street in front of the DEC building. Bill said the police believed Josh stole the DEC vehicle. Miller said the department had never publicly stated that Josh stole the vehicle.
The report from the Albany Police Department said, "Investigator Bell stated that he found no text messages in his phone."
Bill found Albany's report contradictory to what he saw from Bethlehem's.
"The photograph of the cell phone said that it had eight new messages," Bill said. "Somebody had to erase his messages."
While the Albany Police Department reported that Josh had been walking around a building and slipped into the river, the Bethlehem Police Department report stated that there are no footprints around the building.
Bill said that Albany Police Commander Brendan Cox accused him of drawing the smiley face graffiti to keep his son's story alive. {source}

Kristi Piehl and Bill Szostak, father of one of the victims, are now working on a new theory about how the gang of killers work. "Bill also marked all of the deaths on the map of the United States. Most of the reported victims are Caucasian, with a handful of Asian men. But there is now an African-American man on the list.
Kambili Moukwa, 22, was out with friends ringing in 2009. He was a senior at the University of Pennsylvania and an intern at the Philadelphia Mayor’s office. Kambili was last seen at a Philadelphia bar, but got separated from his friends. The next day, his body was found in an abandoned parking lot along Columbus Blvd. near the Delaware River. No one can explain why he would have walked to the lot that is surrounded by an iron fence. A smiley face was photographed there. {source}

In yet another online scandal that had Singaporean Netizens riled, a blogger who calls himself Gary Ng posted some 33 sex videos of himself to a blog on an obscene website.According to a post on omy blogger Alvinology's site, Gary claims to work in the banking industry, and is not shy at all about describing his sexual encounters with the various women.Local Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wabao, reported that about 22 women were featured in the 33 videos Gary uploaded. Gary also titled the videos such that they profile the women whom he was having sex with.From the titles include, 'Gary Ng vs. Beer Auntie', 'Gary Ng vs. Ah Lian' and even 'Gary Ng vs. Friend's Niece'. A real estate agent, an NUS student, a bank employee and a neighbour were also among Gary's 'conquests', Lianhe Wanbao reported.The Wanbao report said that Gary first uploaded the sex clips to a blog hosted on an obscene website. He then made a number of posts on several popular Singaporean online forums, describing his sexual experiences in great detail and posting links to the videos.Response to the videos were rife with criticism, with many Netizens condemning Gary's actions and sending 'flames' or angry posts. However, a handful of bloggers were found to have posted links to Gary's sex videos on their own blogs as well.Lianhe Wanbao said that the first clip was uploaded sometime in August 2008, and the videos last from between more than 10 seconds to some 30 seconds.From the angle the video were shot, the camera was likely to have been placed at a high point in the room. The women seem not to be aware of the fact that their actions were being recorded.In a later email reply to Lianhe Wanbao, Gary admitted that "most of the women" were unaware he was taping them.

这名被网民唾弃为“狮城陈冠希”的男子自称Gary，他先是在色情网站的私人部落格上载这些短片，过后“意犹未尽”在本地热门网络聊天室夸耀自己的性史，还设立网络链接，邀请网民“观赏”他博客上的性爱短片。
据该部落格所见，短片最早2007年8月间被上载，半年里，已有33个短片之多。这些他自称和不同女郎翻云复雨的短片，历时10多秒到30多秒不等。
有些短片是从高角度拍摄，有些则是近距离拍，因此，相信至少部份女主角对于性爱过程被录制下来，是知情的。“狮城陈冠希”还在网上绘声绘影炫耀自己与堂妹发生关系，网民痛批他的荒诞乱伦行径，令人作呕！这名狮城男子还在本地着名网络聊天室公里，大胆公开自己与堂妹性交的过程。
短片的拍摄地点似乎都在睡房或酒店房间，镜头角度都巧妙地避开男女主角的庐山真面目。不过，有些短片是近距离拍摄，因此相信部份女主角知道性爱过程被录制。
在每个短片题目中，男子以个别女子的职业，或她们与他的关系，给予她们不同称号，有的是“啤酒女郎”、“朋友的侄女”、“蔡厝港女郎”、“银行执行员”、“大学生”、“实习护士”、“邻居女儿”等，可谓“来者不拒”。
不少网友斥责他无耻恶心，但也有网民取短片中的画面上载到自己的部落格，或设立短片的网络链接，导致短片如今以惊人速度在网络流传。一名对“狮城陈冠希”深感不齿的网民斥责，很多人都爱自拍，但“慷慨”与全世界分享自己性爱短片的人，只能以极度愚蠢来形容。
狮城陈冠希回应记者
“狮城陈冠希”通过电邮回应记者询问时说，他在网上看过很多人上载性爱短片，不过觉得他们都很“差劲”。他把性爱录像放上网，是为“展示自己的性爱技巧”。“上载录像是要展示自己的技巧，没料到反应如此热烈，我才越放越多。”
对于别人给他冠上“狮城陈冠希”的称号，他还颇“谦虚”地说，“其实，他们不必把我当成甚么明星，我只是为新加坡男子贡献一些免费录像。”他还强调，短片中大部份女主角对于被拍是知情的。至于为何在短片上留下自己的电邮，他声称，很多人在网上留言，要求他提供电邮以方便联络，他只是循众要求。
专家对于狮城陈冠希观点
卢平池律师受访时指出，短片中男女主角虽没露脸，但只要是制作、散播淫秽录像，都已经触犯了影片法令。
至于上网“观赏”影片的公众，他说︰“一个人若只是在电脑上观看这类影片，不算犯法；可是一旦下载并储存进电脑，已算拥有淫秽录像，如果再告诉他人有关影片可从哪里下载，也构成散播淫秽录像的罪责。”
根据新加坡法令，一旦制作淫秽影像罪成，可被罚款不下2万元，但不超过4万元，或监禁不超过2年，或两者兼施。拥有淫秽影片，每部影像可被判罚款不下500元（总数不超过2万元），或监禁不超过6个月或两者兼施；散播这类录像，每部影像罚款不下2000元（总数不超过8万元），或监禁不超过2 年，或两者兼施。

I secretly film women in bed when they don't give consent
HE HAS an ordinary day job as a surveyor in a bunkering firm, but he also leads a secret life as an amateur pornographer.
And Gary Ng, 29, is fast gaining online notoriety after his self-filmed sex videos - posted on various amateur porn sites and sex forums - caused an uproar among local netizens.
The 33 videos, which have since been removed from those sites, featured him having sex with several women who, he claims, are from all walks of life.
The New Paper on Sunday managed to get in touch with Mr Ng through his e-mail address, which he displays on his videos.
In an online interview, he said he had removed the videos from the porn sites, but had later posted them on another website for his 'fans'.
Most of the videos begin with him in office wear before he undresses.
The video titles are telling - 'Gary Ng vs Beer Promo Auntie', 'Gary Ng vs Friend's Niece' and 'Gary Ng vs Chua Chu Kang girl' - just to name a few.
He even claimed to have had sex with a mother and her daughter on two different occasions. His other conquests range from waitresses and housewives to tertiary students and bank executives, he said.
When asked if Gary Ng is his real name, he said it is.
To attract netizens to view his videos, he also posted links on sex forums, where he has been given the dubious honour of being called Singapore's Edison Chen.
Edison, a Chinese-Canadian actor, was embroiled in a high-profile sex scandal after pictures of him having sex with several Hong Kong starlets were leaked online last year, after he sent a computer for repairs.
The comparison is not very apt, though. Edison did not intend to make the pictures public, but got himself and the women involved in a lot of trouble because they could all be easily identified.
Mr Ng, on the other hand, has put the videos online himself, but he has protected the women involved by keeping out their faces, as well as his own.
Although making or reproducing obscene films is a criminal offence (see box at right), Mr Ng apparently had no qualms about doing this over a period of time.
He started posting his sex videos online last September.
His reason for doing so, it seems, was to get back at women after he was cheated in previous relationships.
He said he was disillusioned after three consecutive failed relationships. Each of his girlfriends had cheated on him, he claimed.
His first girlfriend of three years - whom he met when he was just 15 - slept with somebody else behind his back, he said. His second girlfriend of six years did the same.
The final straw was when he was sent a video of his third girlfriend, a Thai national, having sex with somebody else.
He recalled: 'She was having a fling in Bangkok. They filmed sex videos and the guy posted them online to share with others.
'He sent me the link through the social network hi5.com. When I saw the video of my girlfriend and him, I totally turned numb towards life and relationships.
'We broke off in the end.'
Mr Ng said he sought solace in nights of endless partying and revelry.
He recalled: 'After all this, I was tortured mentally, asking why God had done this to me.
'My life was clubbing and drinking every day till the wee hours of the morning, and sleeping till the late afternoon before beginning another long night with my buddies.'
While partying, Mr Ng said he got to know women at various clubs, including Dragonfly, St James Power Station and Arena.
And he had sex with them on numerous occasions.
In the space of about a year, he claimed to have chalked up more than 50 sex partners - including polytechnic students, undergraduates and high-flying executives.
The women, he said, were attracted to him because he 'grooms himself well' and drives a 'nice car' - a Nissan GTR.
He started filming his sex trysts - taken mostly at home or at hotels - for his own viewing pleasure, and later decided to post them online on a whim.
He said: 'The response to the videos was shocking great. I kept receiving e-mails commenting on my videos and skills.
'Of course, I protect my partners by not showing their faces in the videos.'
He added that somehow filming himself having sex with random women served as an outlet for the frustration he had experienced in his previous relationships.
He added that his partying escalated and caused him to 'lose focus at work'.
But he was thrilled by the online attention his videos were getting, and continued posting them on amateur porn sites, and exchanging them with netizens who had added him to their MSN Messenger contact lists.
He now has more than 1,000 contacts, most of whom had got in touch with him after viewing his sex videos.
'Some are guys who ask me to introduce girls to them, and who exchange their own home-made sex videos for mine.
'Some ask me sex-related questions, like how to please a woman.'
He added that he also gets propositions from women he chats with online.
But he is not without his detractors.
Some netizens have said online that MrNg may be lying about his conquests and had paid prostitutes to be his video subjects.
When asked, Mr Ng said simply: 'I don't bother about these people. Perhaps they are jealous.'
He is also unabashed about approaching women for sex.
He said: 'Once, I was having dinner at a coffee shop near home and a woman tried to sell me a bottle of beer. She said it was her last bottle and that she could go home after selling it.'
He ended up chatting with the woman, who was in her 40s.
'She told me she was a divorcee,' he recalled.
He offered her a ride home but they ended up going to a hotel for sex. He secretly filmed the tryst and later posted it online.
Mr Ng said most of the women in his videos allowed him to film them during sex. But he admitted to secretly filming some women whom he had 'failed to convince'.
His tool of choice: a video camera.
Mr Ng said his family does not know about his online activities, and that he has told only a few 'close buddies' about his secret life.
On whether he fears being recognised, Mr Ng said: 'I always edit away my face and the faces of my girls, so as to protect them and myself.
'Even if I am exchanging videos with others, I still maintain my stand of taking away those face parts.'
He says this is to avoid jeopardising his partners' lives and careers.
'As some of these girls are either from polytechnics or local universities, I do not want to expose them.
'I care about their future too - many are also high-fliers in banking (and are of) executive level. I do not want to spoil their lives.'

Man to become first in world to give birth to twins
A man is set to become the first in the world to give birth to twins after becoming pregnant during sex change surgery.

Ruben Noe Coronado, 25, from Spain, postponed the process of becoming a man so that he could keep his female reproductive organs and give birth.
He fell pregnant after undergoing fertility treatment when doctors told his girlfriend, the mother of two children from a previous relationship, she couldn't have any more children.
Sr Coronado, born a woman called Estefania or Stephanie, is due to become a father at the end of September.
He is the first Spanish transsexual to fall pregnant and it is thought he will become the world's first transsexual father of twins if everything goes to plan.
He will bring the twins up with his partner Esperanza Ruiz, 43. They plan to marry before they become parents.
Once he becomes a father he will resume his sex-change surgery.
He plans to give birth at a hospital in Barcelona after moving to the area from Malaga two months ago with his girlfriend because of family problems.
Sr Coronado, an epileptic who was adopted as a child, said: "It's like being born with three hands.
"You take advantage of them while you have them and you get rid of one of them when they get in the way."
He said he would not sell his story "now or in the future", but admitted he was "thinking of selling the picture everyone's going to want of me looking pregnant.
"If I don't do it, someone else will and they'll make a fortune," he added.
He claimed he had gone public "so people start to see a transsexual pregnancy as normal.
Last June Thomas Beatie, a bearded American, made headlines round the world after giving birth to a daughter, Susan Juliette.
The 35-year-old, born Tracy Lagondino, is expecting a second child with his wife Nancy this summer.

SEOUL, South Korea – Two Americans were detained by North Korea for illegally crossing its border and were under investigation, the communist country's official news agency said Saturday.
The two female U.S. journalists were arrested March 17 while "while illegally intruding into the territory of (North Korea) by crossing the (North Korea)-China border," the Korean Central News Agency said.
Authorities were investigating the case, KCNA said. The brief dispatch gave no further details.
South Korean media and a South Korean missionary identified the two Americans as Laura Ling and Euna Lee, reporters for former Vice President Al Gore's San Francisco-based media outlet Current TV.
State Department officials said Washington is in contact with North Korea about the two detained journalists.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton "is engaged on this matter right now," spokesman Robert A. Wood told reporters Friday. "There is a lot of diplomacy going on. There have been a number of contacts made." He did not elaborate.
The incident comes at a sensitive time on the Korean peninsula, with North Korea declaring its intention to fire a satellite-equipped rocket into space in early April — a launch some fear will be a cover for the test-fire of a long-range missile.
The North also is locked in a standoff with regional powers over its nuclear program, and earlier this week ordered out five U.S. groups that distribute much-needed food aid in a country where the World Food Program says millions are going hungry.
The two reporters were in the border area with a male cameraman and their guide as part of a reporting assignment on North Korean refugees.
The journalists headed to the Chinese city of Yanji, across the border from North Korea's far northeastern corner, where they planned to interview women forced by human traffickers to strip for online customers, according to the Rev. Chun Ki-won of the Seoul-based Durihana Mission, a Christian group that helps defectors.
Chun said Ling and Lee contacted him three months ago asking for help organizing a trip to China.
They also planned to meet with children of defectors, Chun said. Many children who grow up on the run in China live in legal limbo, unable even to attend school, according to a 2008 Human Rights Watch report.
The North Korean-Chinese border is long, porous and not well demarcated.
A growing number of North Koreans have sneaked into China to avoid political repression, chronic food shortages and to seek asylum, mostly in South Korea, according to North Korean defectors in South Korea and activists.

Indian girl raped on mystic advice
MUMBAI (India) - AN INDIAN businessman has been arrested for allegedly raping his daughter for more than eight years, apparently on the advice of a Hindu mystic who said it would make him wealthy, police said.
Authorities also arrested the man's wife, suspected of being an accomplice, and the mystic - a tantrik, or practitioner of the ancient Indian art of the occult - for allegedly raping the man's other minor daughter, police said on Thursday.
Police said the father, a 49-year-old car parts salesman from Mumbai's outskirts, began raping his oldest daughter in 2000, when she was 14, after he ran into financial troubles.
'The businessman approached a friend who claimed to possess tantrik powers, and the latter advised him to have sex with his daughter to prosper in life,' police officer Mukund Mahajan told the CNN-IBN news channel.
Police said that in recent months, the tantrik apparently began having sex with the businessman's 15-year-old daughter, also for occult reasons.
The case became public after the younger daughter revealed the abuse to her grandmother and uncle, who filed a complaint on Wednesday, police officer Prakash Rane told The Associated Press.
The businessman and his 49-year-old wife were arrested Wednesday while the tantrik, 54-year-old Hansmukh Bhai Rathode, was arrested on Thursday, Rane said. Television footage showed dozens of angry people outside the police station trying to attack Rathode as he was brought in.
The parents have not been identified to protect the identities of their children.

SANKT POELTEN (Austria) - JOSEF FRITZL felt he was 'born to rape' and so should be placed in psychiatric care because of the risk he would re-offend, a psychiatrist told the court in Austria on Wednesday.
Fritzl was aware of his evil side, psychiatrist Adelheid Kastner told the court. 'The danger is still very much there that he will reoffend if he is not treated,' Kastner said.
'It is necessary that he continue being treated until he can no longer be classified as dangerous. Thus, the conditions are in place for him to be put in a psychiatric institute,' he added.
The prosecution has demanded that Fritzl serve any sentence in a facility for mentally abnormal offenders.
Kastner spoke after Fritzl dramatically changed his plea to guilty on all charges, having previously denied murder and slavery.
In a 130-page report, Kastner had concluded before the trial that Fritzl suffered serious personality problems, but was responsible for his actions during the 24 years he raped and abused his daughter Elisabeth.
'On the surface, everything functions smoothly. But deep down, his unfulfilled needs are simmering,' Kastner said.
'He is aware - he says so himself - that he has an evil side. He is aware that he was born to rape. He has that partly under control. But as soon as he loosens his grip, everything erupts out.'
Kastner said she had asked why he had chosen Elisabeth out of his seven legitimate children as his victim.
'He replied: because she was most like me. She was as stubborn me, as strong as me. The stronger your opponent, the bigger the victory. That may very well have been the reason.' -- AFP

Girl, 17, raped in holiday outing in Johor

SHE probably thought it was safe to change clothes in the bushes.
After all, her family was nearby.
But the school holiday outing to Gunung Pulai waterfall in Kulai, Johor, turned into a nightmare for the 17-year-old student when she was raped, reported Harian Metro.
While her parents and two younger siblings went into the water at about 2.30pm, the girl ducked behind some bushes to change into her swimsuit.
Three men pounced on her behind and dragged her further into the undergrowth.
It is understood that one man in his 20s undressed and raped the girl.
His accomplices went through her clothings and took her belongings.
As she struggled with her attacker, the student managed to break free and screamed for help, reported New Straits Times.
Her family caught the two accomplices, but the rapist escaped.
The two men, also in their 20s, were handed over to the police, while the victim was sent to Kulai Hospital for a medical examination.
Kulai Jaya police chief Zulkefly Yahya said that the two men identified the alleged rapist.
But when police went to the suspect's home, he was not there.
Superintendent Zulkefly said: 'The two men are being remanded for seven days to help in the investigation.
'Meanwhile, the search for the third suspect is underway and we hope that the public will come forward with information on the case.'

A COUPLE who ran a baby-sitting service out of their home videotaped themselves performing sex acts with children, some as young as 2 months old, police said Friday.
Stephen E Quick, 31, and Samantha Light, 25, both of Veedersburg in western Indiana, were being held on US$100,000 ($150,000) bond in Fountain County Jail.
Both faced preliminary charges of child molestation and child exploitation. Jail staff did not know whether either one had an attorney.
Police searched the couple's home and found a videotape depicting sex acts involving Quick and Light and at least four different children between the ages of 2 months and 6 years, said Fountain County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Kemp.
'In 15 years of doing this job, it's the worst thing I've ever seen or imagined,' he told WRTV. 'Just horrible, just horrible. It's a new low.'
'They took pictures'
Police searched the couple's home after the parents of a 3-year-old girl reported that she told them Quick and Light had touched her inappropriately and photographed her while she was at their home on 28 Feb.
'I asked her if they were just helping her in the bathroom and she said, 'No mummy, they took pictures,' said the girl's mother, who wanted to remain anonymous.
Deputies seized several computers, cameras, a video camera, pornographic materials, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Several sex toys that appeared in the video were seized during a second search, police said.
Light and Quick was arrested on 5 Mar.
Former family members of Light said they were shocked by the accusations. They described her as intelligent and controlling.
Neither has a criminal history.
Authorities have removed the couple's daughter from their home.
The mother of the 3-year-old girl said she wants them to be put in prison for life.
'The damage they have done to these young children is going to affect them for the rest of their lives.
'And there's no taking back what has happened already,' she said.
'All they can do is make sure that it never happens again.
'It makes me want to cry reading that stuff because of those children, those poor children.
'And that little baby that had no idea what was happening to it.'

She burns, buries hubby's body

FOR years, Margaret Uttley, 54, put up with her drunk husband.
Then one day in 2000, the mother of four was in bed asleep when husband Stephen arrived home and woke her up armed with a gun.
In the darkened bedroom, Margaret Uttley grabbed the gun, pointed it at her husband and the gun fired, killing him.
Shocked at what she did, she burned his body and buried it in the garden of their Melbourne home, reported the Herald Sun.
For seven years, she told police that she did not know why he disappeared.
She even told friends and family that he had left for another state.
She was arrested after a police search uncovered human remains at the family's property in 2007.
Victorian Supreme Court Justice Robert Osborn said Uttley had acted in circumstances 'precipitated by him', reported the Age.
Justice Osborn said the killing was a 'tragic criminal mistake in a life which has otherwise much to commend it'.
But judge said she had also 'desecrated' her husband's body and then told 'protracted and inconsistent lies' about his death, including claims he had gone to the Northern Territory.
Good mum
But Justice Osborn said Uttley had ultimately confessed the killing to police and was a good mother to her four children.
She will serve a minimum of two years' jail before being eligible for parole.
Mr Uttley's sister, MrsPauline Carnovale, told the Herald Sun her brother's murder had hit the family badly.
'This is a despicable event which will now be in my mind for the rest of my life,' she said.

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: The manager of a 24-hour convenience store forced his 19-year-old cashier to strip naked on Sunday and then tried to blackmail her into having sex with him, all because she
had forgotten to charge a customer for a loaf of bread.
The girl, however, lodged a report and the manager was detained by police that day.
The manager had called the girl into his office at the store in Bandar Teknologi Kajang at 3.20pm that day.
He told her he had been watching her on the store's closed-circuit television camera the previous day and that she had not charged a customer for a loaf of bread. He demanded RM600 compensation or he would lodge a police report accusing her of theft.
When she admitted to it, the manager proposed that she strip to settle the issue or he would lodge a police report.
The girl did as she was told but when he said he would call her again at 11pm, she lodged a report at a police station.

A MALAYSIAN woman is distributing pamphlets in Singapore in a bid to track down a taxi driver who she claims had made her pregnant, China Press reported.
The 30-year-old beautician said the man, a married Singaporean, had disappeared after she told him that she was pregnant.
She said she had sex with the man, who was in his 40s, at their first meeting.
'I do not know why this has happened. He told me he could get me a work permit,' said the woman, who had gone to Singapore to look for a job.

A lecturer at a public university here stands accused of raping one of his charges.
The lecturer, from the engineering faculty, is said to have threatened to expel the 26-year-old student from Bandar Tasik Selatan if she told anyone about the rape. He also allegedly offered to make her his third wife.
The student lodged a report last week alleging rape and molest.
Her ordeal began at the end of last year when she was told to meet the lecturer in his office. She was supposed to hand in her assignment.
"She went to the lecturer's office and handed her assignment. She was told to wait while he browsed through the work," said a source.
"The student then told him this would be their last meeting as she had completed all her assignments. She thanked him for his help and guidance."
The lecturer then locked the door and hugged and kissed the student who tried to push him off.
He allegedly took out a sleeping bag from a cupboard, grabbed the student and pushed her onto to the floor. The victim screamed for help but was gagged.
After allegedly raping her, the lecturer warned the student not to inform anyone about the incident or he would not only smear her name but also get her expelled.
"The victim claimed that the lecturer offered to make her his third wife. But she refused despite his persistence. She was molested and raped on two other occasions," the source disclosed.
Selangor CID chief Senior Assistant Commissioner II Hasnan Hassan said police would question the lecturer when he returned from his holiday abroad.

DOMESTIC helpers play a big part in looking after families in Singapore.
From house-cleaning to child-caring, their efforts are a common sight in Housing Board estates.
But in Bukit Batok, a few maids have given 'extra' work a new meaning.
One of them, Rose (not her real name), an Indonesian, is allegedly selling sexual favours to middle-aged men in the neighbourhood.
Even younger men are not safe from these temptresses, as one upset father found out.
Mr J Chong, a businessman in his 50s, had caught his 20-year-old son having sex with Rose in his Bukit Batok flat last month.
Mr Chong tipped off The New Paper on Sunday as he was sure that Rose was still plying her sex services.
Said Mr Chong: 'When I caught them, I threatened to tell her employer.
'She begged me not to because she would lose her job. It's because I pitied her that I let her go.'
Mr Chong, who works in Johor Baru and often returns home late at night, learned that Rose was a maid after confronting his son in the bedroom.
Added Mr Chong: 'I slapped my son before he could apologise. But he didn't tell me the full story, such as who she works for or where she lives.
'As a father, I'm worried this woman could have passed a disease to him.'
Mr Chong was disappointed when his friends at the neighbourhood coffee shop told him that his son was seeing Rose again.
Across the coffee shop, at a playground, some maids often congregate and flirt with middle-aged men.
By appointment only
Rose and her friends charge between $40 and $60 for sex, and would also leave their contact numbers for men in the estate, said Mr Chong.
This reporter called Rose for an appointment.
Rose was willing to meet, though I was not recommended by any of her previous clients.
Rose, 40, said in English: 'I don't go to hotels. I'm usually busy (with my other appointments). You must live nearby so that we can do it at your home.'
Then she added: 'Darling, do you have condoms?'
Rose stressed that our date would depend on whether her boss was working that day.
Last week, I met Rose at a void deck, close to where she lives.
She apologised for being late.
Although busy with household chores, Rose had cooked up an excuse to leave her employer's flat.
The mother of three from East Java was friendly and outspoken.
She said her time was 'short' as she would need to fetch her employer's child from a nearby kindergarten at noon.
Each day she drops off the child at the kindergarten by 8.30am, leaving her only a 'few hours to entertain her clients'.
Before we continued talking, Rose insisted on payment of $50. I asked her if it was possible for her to recommend younger maids.
She said a few of her compatriots in the estate were also offering the same services.
Rose said: 'From past experiences, men will forget me once I introduce them to younger girls in this estate.
'I don't want to give you other girls because how then will I get money?'
Rose, who has worked in Singapore for five years, revealed that her customers were usually older men.
One of her regulars, who paid her well and bought her gifts, had recently relocated overseas.
Rose added: 'If you like my services, you can call me any time. In the future, you don't have to pay me all the time. I just want to make you happy.'
When it was time to proceed to the flat upstairs, my handphone rang, as planned.
The call from a colleague was my excuse to call off our 'liaison'. I told Rose that a family member had called to say he was coming over.
Rose agreed to postpone the session and assured me that she would fulfil her contract and 'not run'.
The next day, I called Rose, revealed my identity and asked her why she was engaging in such activities.
After a few moments of silence, she said: 'After my husband died (in 2000), I was the only one left to support my family. My $350 salary is not enough to send back home.'
She then hung up.
Sex-for-hire maids run foul of law
IT doesn't happen often.
But there are foreign maids who run afoul of the law when they join the sex trade.
Two lawyers and the president of a non-governmental organisation were not surprised by Rose's sex-for-hire case.
Under the law, a maid is not allowed to perform other work outside the employer's home.
Maids like Rose who 'freelance', can be repatriated for breaching their work permit conditions, said lawyer A P Thirumurthy.
He recalled one similar case four years ago where a maid was providing sexual services for money.
The maid was sacked and banned from entering Singapore, he said.
Employers can also be penalised if they are aware of their maids' illegal activities and have 'a part in encouraging it', said lawyer Satwant Singh.
Under the Women's Charter, an employer who takes a cut from a 'freelancing' maid, can be jailed up to five years and fined up to $10,000.
Said Mr Singh: 'As an employer is responsible for his maid's welfare and upkeep, the onus is then on him to prove that he was not aware of what his maid had been doing.
'He must also show that he took all the necessary steps to keep his maid from straying.'
But how will employers know what their maids are up to when they are at work?
It boils down to trust, say those The New Paper on Sunday spoke to.
Ms Grace Chong of Grace Manpower Agency said that when trust is established, employers will not doubt their maids.
Said Ms Chong: 'These days, you'll never know what your own child is doing, let alone a maid.
'But when you instil good moral values and treat a maid like a family member, then there's nothing to worry.'
A situation like Rose's is unlikely to happen if employers are understanding, said Mr John Gee, president of Transient Workers Count Too.
Employers should clearly state a maid's duties and tell her what she is not allowed to do.
For instance, bringing a stranger into the home raises questions of safety and possible theft, and could earn a maid instant dismissal.
But Mr Gee cautions against having too many rules as it may seem oppressive.
Instead, lend a sympathetic ear to the maid's problems.
Said Mr Gee: 'A great majority of maids will not sell their bodies for money. But if they do, it could be due to economicdesperation.
'A decent employer should then ask why is this happening and look for solutions.'
Sadly, not many options are open to maids in debt.
Salaries have remained low, hovering between $240 and $300, said Mr Gee who recently studied Indonesian maids' 10-year pay rates.
Still, he has encountered helpful employers, who give bonuses or loans to maids in financial trouble.
'It's a two-way street - maids must not be afraid to speak up and employers need to listen,' said Mr Gee.
Mr Hsu H K, 37, a business executive, is strict with his 24-year-old Indonesian maid, and has told her not to leave the flat on herown.
Said the father of two boys: 'Everywhere she goes, she will be accompanied by my parents. But if she needs to buy something quickly, she must be reachable on her handphone.'
Another employer, Mr Mohd Salleh, prefers a more extreme approach. He has installed CCTV cameras in his flat. He also makes his maid fill out a log of what she has done each day.
After completing every chore, the maid reports to him over the telephone.
But the 32-year-old engineer allows his maid to leave the flat unaccompanied.
Said Mr Mohd: 'I trust her. The log is just a precaution. If she has been lying, I can check easily, with shopkeepers or the people she said she has met that day.'
But maids don't like being 'monitored'.
Ms Tini, 23, an Indonesian maid working in the same estate as Rose, said that's why some keep secrets from their employers.
She said: 'The maid's (Rose's) actions are disgraceful, but most of us work honestly.
'When we have money problems, we keep it from our bosses because they may not understand.'
Ms Tini and her friends have a central pool where they can borrow money from one another if they are in urgent need.

'Fiance used knife to make me sleep with him'
HE came home drunk and threatened his Vietnamese fiancee with a knife when she refused to sleep with him.
He did it not just once, but on four occasions.
We are not naming the couple as the Singaporean man had allegedly forced himself on the Vietnamese woman.
His true colours made the 21-year-old woman call off the wedding, which was fixed for solemnisation on Thursday.
On Monday, she fled to First Overseas International Matchmaker, the agency that introduced her to the man, and it arranged for her to return to Ho Chi Minh City the same day.
Mr Francis Toh, the agency owner, told The New Paper on Sunday that his client, 50, a businessman, treated the woman well during their brief courtship after they were introduced last month.
He said: 'We signed the contract and he paid my fee of $6,800. It was agreed that he could take her home after he had obtained a marriage solemnisation date.'
The woman moved into his Serangoon flat late last month, in preparation for her wedding.
True colours
But within two weeks, the man showed his true colours, claimed Mr Toh.
He allegedly came home drunk and demanded to sleep with his fiancee, Lianhe Wanbao reported. When she refused, the man, who was reeking of alcohol, allegedly turned nasty.
She claimed that he threatened her with a knife and said: 'If you don't give in, I'll kill you before killing myself. We'll die together.'
Stuck in a foreign country and facing a knife, she gave in.
It did not help that the man's two older sisters gave her a tough time too.
Mr Toh said: 'My client's sisters are supposedly suffering from depression so when they couldn't control their emotions, they shouted at her for no reason.'
The woman decided to call off the marriage and return to Vietnam after her experience.
After contacting Mr Toh secretly, she sneaked out of the flat and fled to the agency in Katong Shopping Centre.
She told Lianhe Wanbao before she left Singapore: 'My ex-fiance apologised each time he sobered up but he reverted to his devilish side when he became drunk again.
'I came here seeking a better life and I didn't want to live with such a man.'
She said there was no way she could find another Singaporean man as she had lost her virginity.
She said: 'I just hope to get my passport back and return to Vietnam. I plan to learn some skills as I'll have to be independent in future.'
Besides her parents, she has a 25-year-old brother living in Vietnam.
Angered that the marriage was cancelled without any refund of his agency fee, the man refused to hand over her passport.
Mr Toh said: 'I rejected his request for a refund because it was unreasonable. He hid his drinking habit from me when he became my customer. It was also wrong of him to treat his ex-fiancee that way.
'Besides, when both sides signed the contract, it was made clear to them that if the marriage was cancelled because of the man, he would bear the consequences.'
As the man had refused to return the passport, Mr Toh went to the police and got the Vietnamese embassy here to make travel arrangements for her.
He said he trusted the man as he was recommended by a friend.
He said: 'If he came on his own, I'd have been more watchful. But since he was introduced by someone I knew, I thought he was of good character.'
The New Paper on Sunday's attempts to contact the man were unsuccessful.

KUALA LUMPUR - A NURSE who was raped by a former boyfriend three years ago finally lodged a police report after he kept threatening to distribute nude photographs of her.
It is learnt that the nurse, who is now married to someone else, was introduced to the man by her stepmother in 2006.
She went out with the man, who claimed that he was a spiritual person and he asked her to join him in his business selling compact discs on religious teachings.
When she rejected the offer, he became infuriated and in an act of revenge, raped her.
He had been threatening her since then with phone calls that he would distribute naked photographs of her taken while they were together.
It is learnt that the threats continued even after the woman got married a year ago, and became worse after the suspect threatened to show the photographs to her husband and family members.
The victim lodged the report at the Pantai police station here on Friday.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid confirmed receiving a report on the incident, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation. -- THE STAR

Too revealing?

A HALTER dress with a plunging neckline is not something you would wear on a Channel 8 cooking show.
At least, that’s what some viewers thought after watching Joanne Peh, 26, whip up her favourite dishes in an episode of 3-Plus-1 recently.
MediaCorp forums were abuzz after the show, with one netizen, Bezxzer, commenting: “Seriously, it was the dress that was making people drool... not the food.”
Another netizen, Bond, felt Joanne’s outfit was “so distracting”.
Lianhe Wanbao quoted one netizen saying: “This is a cooking show, not some swimsuit pageant for her to show off her figure.
“She may have a great body, but her dressing was just very inappropriate.”
In the culinary programme, which started in December last year, artistes are given $20 to prepare three dishes and a soup for their loved ones.
Every episode pits two celebrities against each other, and three judges will decide whose food tastes better.
In one particular episode, which aired on 24 Feb, Joanne, dressed in a low-cut halter-neck print dress, won in the cooking battle against actress Dawn Yeoh.
In an e-mail interview with The New Paper, Joanne defended her choice of wardrobe.
She said: “As it would have been hot during cooking, I wanted to wear something feminine and casual.
“I also didn’t want my outfit to obstruct or cause discomfort during cooking.”
But she denied that what she was wearing was a bikini top, adding that she would have been “out of my mind” to wear something like that on a cooking show.
She said she was surprised when told of the public backlash because the production team on set had complimented her on her outfit.
If the team felt that her dress was “lewd”, she said that they would have asked her to change it.
Wrong apron?
She also pointed out that she was expected to be given a “full frontal apron”, not the half apron that she ended up with on the show.
Full-length apron or not, she insisted that she wasn’t “flashing any inappropriate part of my body” or “flaunting or exposing myself”.
“It is common for the public to have a personal stake in the way we look and I apologise if the outfit offended anyone,” she said.
Friends and family also agreed that she looked good in the dress.
Joanne, who is known as one of Caldecott Hill’s seven princesses, first made the news over her ample assets in last year’s hit volleyball drama, Beach.Ball.Babes.
She stunned onlookers at Tiong Bahru Market – with her noticeably bumped-up assets – when she was there to film the series last May, together with co-stars Jesseca Liu and Jade Seah.
In that episode, the girls, who are part of a volleyball team, lose a bet and are made to strip to their bikinis outside a wet market as a forfeit.
Her cleavage got viewers wondering if the slim actress had gone under the knife.
This speculation was a big change for Joanne, whose image is often labelled as fresh and sweet.
The sex kitten label was often given to actresses like Fiona Xie and AnnKok.
Joanne was even once voted by netizens as the flattest of them all among MediaCorp actresses.
When asked about her chest size then, Joanne told The New Paper it was because of hormones. “Have your period, lor!” she said.
She claimed her breasts always swell up one cup size bigger when it’s “that time of the month for me”.
She also denied that she had done breast implants.
“It’s something I can’t accept and I feel I don’t need,” she said.
When asked this same question again in this interview, she stood by her claim.
She even joked: “Given the number of hours I put in for work throughout the year, the doctor will have to perform the surgery at my house while I am sleeping.
“For all that money and pain, I would want to have them much much bigger!”
Chameleon
Jokes aside, she expressed her desire to be versatile with her image.
Like a chameleon, she believes she can be “sporty, boyish, girl-next-door, womanly or sexy”.
However, she confessed that she is currently moving onto a different stage in her life.
She said: “I’m getting in touch with my femininity and am really just a girl slowly stepping into womanhood.”
But she accepts that “such comments” are part and parcel of a celebrity’s life.
She explained: “People will have something to say on just about everything from our physical appearances to our personal lives, to the work thatweproduce.
“I believe some viewers have different obsessions for reasons they themselves might not even know. Unfortunately, we can’t please everyone.”

A man has died after his mobile phone exploded, severing a major artery in his neck, according to reports.
The man, thought to be a shop assistant in his twenties at a computer shop in Guangzhou, China, died after he put a new battery in his phone. It was believed that he may have just finished charging the battery and had put the phone in his breast pocket when it exploded.
According to the local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News, the accident happened on January 30 at 7.30pm. An employee at the shop told Chinese media that she heard a loud bang and saw her colleague lying on the floor of the shop in a pool of blood. The employee said the victim had recently changed the battery in his mobile phone.
Chinese authorities have yet to determine the make and model of the phone and its battery. Some reports indicated the store was a Lenovo shop, but it was thought that this might be because the shop advertised Lenovo computer products. Police were investigating whether the phone and battery were counterfeit.
Local reports said that this was the ninth recorded cellphone explosion in China since 2002. In the most high profile recent incident, in June 2007, a 22-year-old welder, Xiao Jinpeng, died from chest wounds when his mobile phone exploded while he was at work at an iron mill in Gansu province.
A local government inquiry found that the mobile phone battery had exploded due to the heat of the iron mill. Lithium batteries are widely used in mobile phones - but if they are overcharged or exposed to heat, the inflammable liquid inside can explode.
Motorola and Nokia, two of the world's biggest mobile phone makers, denied links to the distributors of problem batteries in China, suggesting they were counterfeit.
After the latest incident, the Shin Min Daily News published advice for consumers on how to avoid mobile phone explosions. The tips included:
- Always use original batteries. Be sure that batteries by the manufacturer are meant for your mobile phone.
- Never modify your phone
- Always use original battery chargers
- Do not expose your mobile phone to high temperatures, and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight
- Avoid long phone conversations
- Do not make or answer calls when the phone is charging
- Try to keep your phone in a bag instead of in a pocket
- Do not use damaged batteries

A STOMPer, who attends a neighbourhood secondary school, says that his friend's sister has gravely offended him and many others by openly insulting and demeaning government school students.
The conversation between the STOMPer and his friend’s sister got heated during an online instant messaging session.
According to him, the argument had started when the other party accused him of leading her brother astray.
The girl had then insulted students from neighbourhood schools by stating that "worms" were being nurtured in these schools. She also described them to be "lousy, stupid students, and wayward brats".
Hoping to highlight this shocking discrimination against neighbourhood school students, the STOMPer says:
“I have been wrongly excused by my friend’s sister for leading her brother astray.
“I feel that my dignity has been offended and I decided to share this with everyone on internet. She feels that I had led her brother astray because I attend a neighbourhood school.
“Furthermore, the government has also been dragged into the conversation and was insulted for nurturing worms instead of intelligent people.
“The purpose of sharing this is to tell people that neighbourhood school students can achieve better results than students from reputable schools if they are willing to work hard.
“I feel offended that such discrimination still exists in Singaporean society. This makes the younger generations from neighbourhood schools feel inferior in their studies.
“We should do something to tell younger generations not to feel inferior in their studies and to work hard to achieve better grades.”
